TWO PRE-TEEN BOYS ARRESTED AT TESCO EXTRA WOOLWICH

TWO PRE-TEEN BOYS ARRESTED AT TESCO EXTRA WOOLWICH by Benson Agoha

* Tesco Extra Store, Woolwich.

Two twelve-year olds have been arrested at Tesco Extra in Woolwich, for violence at 7.40pm today Thursday, 19.09.2013.

The boys were accused of entering the store and, shortly becoming disorderly, smarshing things up and breaking the service lift.

They were promptly detained by Tesco Security and police were called in.

When Woolwich Online called at the store, the two boys were already inside the police van. But a Police officer confirmed to us that there age notwithstanding, the boys have been nicked.

The officer said '..sometimes we cannot just let them do whatever they like.'

Tesco security said they understand the limit allowed for underage children, and that when they exceed that, they have to be stopped.

An engineer was working hard last night to repair the lift.

POLICE ARREST THREE AT TESCO EXTRA STORE WOOLWICH by Sonny Jones

* Police arrest three at Tesco Extra.

Two men and a woman were arrested at the Tesco Extra Store, Woolwich Central, last night. The trio are all in their middle ages.

Eyewitnesses say Police were called to the store at about 8.05pm last night, after they attempted to leave without paying.

When our man, following a tip-off, arrived outside the Store at 8.15pm, a man and a lady were already seated at the back of the police van. A few minutes later, the second man was asked to get onboard. He was seated on the middle row. All three appeared calm at the scene.

A Tesco official at the scene refused to comment. But Police confirmed the arrest and refused to give details, saying they were still processing the incident.

Nevertheless, Tesco Security confirmed to us that the trio did not know they were being watched and were stopped when they attempted to leave the store without paying.

The suspects were driven out of the store's premises at 8.30pm
