BORIS JOHNSON PEDALS ON WITH THE CYCLE SCHEME: OFFERS FREE CYCLE STANDS TO LONDON EMPLOYERS by Benson Agoha

London has been experiencing a cycling boom since the summer Olympics. This cheery news was further confirmed with the recent RideLondon event, which saw more than 16,000 people take to their bikes, cycling past some of London's best-known landmarks.

The Royal Borough of Grenwich announces TfL's plan to offer free cycle stands to interested employers in London.

According to Marlon Dwyer, Principal Regeneration Manager (Woolwich), interested employers will however, be responsible for the installation of the stands, which will come in three designs for choice.

* Sheffield Stands.

These are the `Sheffield Stands', `Toast Racks' and Vertical Parking' before they are delivered to respective owners by the TfL.

* Toast Rack.

The message read "In order to help support the growth in cycling in London, and increase the quantity and quality of cycle parking, Transport for London (TfL) is offering free cycle stands for employers in the Capital.

* Vertical Parking.

Employers will be responsible for the installation of the cycle stands once delivered."

To apply for the cycle stands is easy – simply visit the online ordering portal:
