WOOLWICH GRAND THEATRE ANNOUNCES `We Love Woolwich Festival 2013' by Benson Agoha

* We love Woolwich Festival 2013.

A three day programme of activities has been announced by the Woolwich Grand Theatre for the 27th, 28th and 29th of September, 2013.

According to Mr. Adrian Green, the event will start at 2pm on the 27th, `with a 60 piece Collaborative Orchestra playing popular film scores while using our screen as a back-drop.' He said there will also be an evening session for the same day.

For the 28th, there will be unsigned bands and local musicians capable of singing all genres.

The afternoon and evening of the 28th is still open for a `headline act', so if you are up for it, this is your chance to secure the slot.

The closing day, 29th of September is scheduled for an evening of cabaret and comedy acts from this year's Edinburgh Fringe and from the local area, so there is oportunity for local acts.

Mr. Green said the objective is `to make people aware that there is a hidden gem in Woolwich' and that `the main concept of this festival is to bring to Woolwich cultural possibilities`.

If you wish to take part at the event or require further information, please contact, The Woolwich Grand Theatre, 38 Wellington Street, Woolwich, London SE18 6PE. Tel- 020 8316 7660. or by email to: info@thewoolwichgrandtheatre.com.
