SINGER ADELE PASSES HER DRIVING TEST by Benson Agoha
* New Driver: Adele.
Many of us try many times before we achieve the feet. A great many struggle to do it for years - and still fail.
But for platinum selling singer, Adele, the wait was over on Friday as she was told she had passed her driving test.
Informing her 18,130,925 Twitter followers on Friday, she wrote: "I passed my driving test this morning!!!"
It came as the government announced plans to raise the qualification age for youngers before they can take the test to 19.
The move designed to reduce accident an improve road safety will however allow them to have a probationary license from the age of 18. The new rule will provide for automatic gradution to full licence as well as unrestricted driving.
The new rule say that Learners can then take their test at 18 and, if they pass, will get a probationary licence and must also display a green "P" plate.
The newly qualified drivers would also face a curfew and not be allowed to drive between 22:00 and 05:00 unless a passenger aged over 30 was in the car.
But the mega rich lady, with the golden voice has no age restrition to fear as she turn 25 years in May, this year.
The youngest driver to pass the driving test and obtain a full drivers license was Tom Cave, who passed one week after attaining the age of 17 in 2008.
No matter, congrats Adele.
