WOOLICH WINTER WARMER 2013: SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL TRADERS AND BUSINESSES by Benson Agoha

The Royal Borough of Greenwich has announced plans to hold the 2013 edition of the Woolwich Winter Warmer on consecutive Saturdays 7th and 14th of December, 2013.

The events are designed to encourage the wider community of Woolwich to come out for a programme of entertainment, festive treats ad shopping.

Winter Warmers help set the mood for the Christmas festive season, and this year's events will culminate in a parade through the town centre plus a firework finale which is expected to attract a huge crowd.

The Council plans an event at the General Gordon Square that will "feature entertainment, activities and festive fun all day" on Saturday, 7th of December.

The following Saturday 14th, will be a "day of Christmas Choir performances at the Square along with festive roving entertainers".

Council say the events are open for sponsorship and local traders and businesses can take advantage of the opportunities the days present to sponsor some of the programmes.
Attractions/Opportunities for sponsorship include:

A: Display of different breeds of Jams Owls: Open for Sponsorship with £200.

B: Display of Live Reindeer at the Square: Open for Sponsorship with £500.

C: Hot Drinks: free hot chocolates and non-alcoholic mulle wine. Open for Sponsorship with £500.

D: Festive Treats: an opportunity for retailers to promote their Christmas range by giving free samples.

E: Goody Bags: people who take part in the Christmas Choirs events are given goody bag full of treats.
