Woolwich New Road: Public Safety Fear As Dent On Property Widens by Sonny Jones

* Dent on property caused by Motorcycle accident.

A structural defect on a property along Plumstead Road, seemed minor at the time, but with neglect seem to be widenning.

The dent on the outer wall of 149 Plumstead road, Woolwich occured when motor-cyclist veered of the road and rammed against the shop that sells used electrical appliances.

The property is located right behind a busy bus-stop that services several routes.

When the attention of Woolwich Online was drawn to the spot, we asked the shopkeeper whether he was not concerned about his, and the public's safety. He explained that he was waiting for `the man who lives at the top flat to bring money'.

He probably has a good reason but, it has been one month since, and with the dent widenning, could the result of one accident just mean another waiting to happen?
