Sabine Kehm, Michael Schumacher's Manager released an official statement last week, thanking his fans and expressing the hope that the Formula 1 champion will not give up.
The statement, issued ahead of his wife, Corinna's visit to the Grenoble hospital, on Wednesday 22nd January, remains the only official statement on his website.
The statement titled "Thank you all so much!" said "We are deeply touched by all the messages to get well soon for Michael which still are being sent. That gives us strength. Thank you all so much!"
It went on to thank the Fanclub in Kerpen, to the ones in FC Koln and Shalke and to everybody else and other fan groups who are supporting him.
It said "We all know, he is a fighter and will not give up!"
On Sunday, January 19, The Formula One TV report that Michael Schumacher remains in a stable condition at Grenoble Hospital quoting his spokesperson, presumably Sabine Kehm.
Michael Schumacher was inured when he plunged and sustained brain injury in a skiing accident at Méribel ski, an exclusive resort in the French Alps, over the Christmas period.
Reports said he stopped to help friend before the accident during which he tripped, hitting a rock and sustaining brain injury as he fell.
He remains in coma in hospital and despite calls to contrary, the media are keeping watch.
