Iran Increases War Rhetorics Against United States; Will Not Reduce Its “Defensive Capabilities.”

With Iran's latest threats against the US, it would seem that November's achievement, with the signing of the landmark nuclear deal, between Iran and the six world powers (P5+1), does no longer matter.

Nor does the implementation of the agreement in January, during which Iran duly turned off the uranium enrichment plants in Natanz and Fordow, under the watchful eyes of UN's nuclear inspectors.

The resurgence of threats happened on Sunday after Navy Commander Ali Fadavi, Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, was credited as saying the US must be aware of Iran's military posses the capabilities to sink their aircraft carriers in the Gulf, if attacked.

During that speech he also revealed that Iran had despatched a warships to the North Atlantic, even as the spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei calls the US liars who, profess to be friends of Iran, but would bring down his regime if they could.

Adding, it was “amusing” that the US thought Iran would reduce its “defensive capabilities.”

Last weekends threats followed Fridays similulation of a devastating reprisal attack on Israel, aired on Iranian TV, in which airial bombardment of targets inside Israeli cities including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ben Gurion Airport and the Dimona nuclear reactor were vivid.

But the videos were only played as hypothetical retaliation in the event of an Israeli or US strike on Iran.

Analysists think that the simulations, entitled “The Nightmare of Vultures,” were to assuage frayed feelings of hardline nationals who perhaps believe that the 20th January implementation of the December agreement meant a loss of prestige on Iran.

According the Times of Israel, the film showed "Iranian drones and missiles ... carrying out simulated strikes on the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, downing American aircraft and striking American military targets in the Persian Gulf.

Supreme Leader Khamenei warned: “Anybody who thinks of attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran should be prepared to receive strong slaps and iron fists from the Armed Forces.”

Adding“..America, its regional puppets and its guard dog – the Zionist regime – should know that the response of the Iranian nation to any kind of aggression, attacks or even threats will be a response that will make them collapse from within.”

There has been no official response to Iran's rhetorics from the United States.
