LEE RIGBY: No Parole For Michael Adebolajo, As Adebowale Gets A Minimum Of 45 Years

Two men who brutally mudered a serving soldier on Welling Street, Woolwich began there sentences today, after yesterday's sentencing.

Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale were given life sentences yesterday. But while Adebolajo will spend his entire life behind bars, his accomplice, Adebowale was given life, but with a chance to be released after serving a minimum of 45 years.

The two were dragged fighting from the dock to begin their sentences.

Yesterday's sentencing followed their conviction in December and a later decision last month, which paved the way for the judgement to be sited in subsequent cases.

The family told the media they were satisfied with the sentences and could now say what needed to be said - "Rest In Peace Lee", their spokesman said.

Our colunmist, Louisa Pawsey, who has been campaigning behind the scenes for a deserving Lee Rigby memorial in woolwich, gives her long awaited opinion later today.
