* Lee Rigby.
Today is sentencing day for the convicted fanatics who, on May 22nd, 2013, mowed a serving soldier down on a Woolwich Street and then murdered him.
Michael Adebolajo, 29, and Michael Adebowale, 22, had already been convicted of the murder in December, last year, but their sentencing was deferred till the new year.
During the trial Adebolajo, described himself as "soldiers of Allah", telling the court the attack on the soldier was premeditated. He said although they had been planning an attack they had no particular person in mind and that it was as if Lee Rigby was chosen by Allah.
Adebolajo said they had carried out the sickening killing as revenge for abuse of Muslims abroad and spontaneously chose Drummer Lee Rigby, for wearing a 'Help for Heroes' shirt when they saw him.
The two will be sentenced at the Old Bailey today and could face whole life jail terms, after a key appeal court ruling last month found that the sentences can be used by UK judges.
