* An Israeli army tank is stationed near the village of Majdal Shams, on Wednesday, in the Golan Heights.
Israeli Fighter Jet responded to Tuesday's attack against IDF patrol vehicle and struct Syrian military installations they say ‘aided and abetted bombing'.
According to media reports by Times of Israel, the IAF aircraft retaliated after the Syrian army attacked an Israeli patrol near the Syrian border around the Golan Heights, wounding four soldiers.
The attack which took place on the border with Syria, near the village of Majdal Shams on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, wounded 4 soldiers, according to army sources.
The IAF jet struct several Syrian positions in the Golan Heights and delivering sharp warning to President Assad of Syria, according to army sources.

In a Twitter message, after the attack, the Israeli Defence Forces Spokesperson tweeted "The explosion near #Syrian border wounded 4 #IDF soldiers," adding "we responded to the attack & will continue to act as necessary to defend".
Israel's Defense Minister, Moshe Ya’alon confirmed that Israeli warplanes bombed “several targets associated with the Syrian army and defense establishment that aided and abetted yesterday’s terror attack.”
Issuing a clear warning to President Bashar Assad, whom he blamed for the attack, the defence Ministers said “We won’t tolerate any breach of our sovereignty or attacks against our soldiers and civilians,” adding “We will react with might and resolve against anyone who acts against us, no matter where and when, as we demonstrated last night. Anyone who tries to attack us will be signing their own death sentence.”
