Whoever said that the £42.5m Arsenal paid for Mesut Ozil was not worth it may have already been biting their tongue since Saturday's FA cup final victory.
Arsenal had to come from 2 goal down to win Hull 3:2 at the final blast of the whistle during a match that dragged into extra time. And Hull really did prove their mettle.
It feels good to see the result of a clubs investment at the end of the season. And for Arsenal, this came pretty timely at a time that tongues have been wagging and fans were becoming agitative for a silverware.
It is certainly tempting to persuade one to imagine if Arsenal buys two more players of Ozil's status.
The glory days are certainly back for the North London Club that was actually formed in Woolwich Arsenal.
We are happy for you Arsenal, Congratulations!
