This Micro Libary, located in an old BT Phone Boot made a good point of an excellent conversion of a disused `Time Lord's machine.
It is reputed as the first Micro Library in London and has become legendary. Equally importantly, the roadside library is for all - free of charge.
We saw it around Loampit Hill, not too far from the campus of the Lewisham College and stopped to check it.
Membership is free and no registration whatsoever required. And it is open 24 hours. The library is maintained by two micro librarians, who have been placed in charge of its use.
But there is one requirement - `Replace every book you borrow with another.'
Nice one guys!

As you can see, it is absolutely working, because the Library is well stocked, with some books even left on the floor.
"It is not what you get, its what you leave behind," the poster read.
