SuperMoon Visits Earth, Despite Our Preocupations

If you are like one friend of mine, full moons will be a coveted good omen for you. She finds, she is usually charged by full moons.

But if that is the case, it probably will be more when a supermoon is due.

On Sunday August 10, 2014 a new supermoon appeared on the horizon and thanks to technology, it was captured in advance and sent over to earth.

According to report and photos from RT News, a Russian cosmonaut sent in the images of the supermoon as it made its way “giving a preview to one of the most dramatic space events of the year”.

 And NASA sent out advance photos to so keen, stargazers can position themselves at vantage points.

Sunday’s supermoon was “the biggest and brightest moon in 20 years”, according to RT, adding “Oleg Artemyev posted a series of amazing images depicting the giant moon's journey orbiting the Earth on his Twitter account, calling it “the supermoon moonset””

Below are some of the images of the supermoon as it appeared in Spain, Malta and London.

Let’s hope its visit will help calm frayed nerves and stop wars sicknesses and wars ravaging Africa, the Middle East and Ukraine.
