The winners of the 2014 Woolwich Winter Warmer Competition held earlier this month, have been announced.

The winners of the 2014 Woolwich Winter Warmer Competition held earlier this month, have been announced.
On
Friday, the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Councillor Mick
Hayes and supermarket representatives from Sainsbury’s and Tesco
presented three lucky members of the community with prizes after
entering a competition at the Woolwich Winter Warmer.
The
presentation, held in the historical Victoria Hall, the winners were
given two vouchers and one luxury hamper from local supermarkets Tesco
and Sainsbury’s.
Mr
Stephen Timney from Thamesmead, Lisa Epsom from Abbey Wood and Susan
Wheeler from Plumstead, were the lucky winners after they entered a
prize draw at the Woolwich Winter Warmer last week.
Mayor
of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Councillor Mick Hayes said: “Well
done to all the lucky residents who won our annual Woolwich Winter
Warmer prize draw. Thank you to Tesco and Sainsbury’s for providing the
gifts which will be greatly appreciated especially so close to
Christmas.”
Stephen
Timney said: “I was really happy to get the phone call to find out I
had won. It was a really nice surprise and has definitely brightened up
my Christmas.”
