Barcelona frustrates Italian Job: Beat Juventus 3:1 to fifth Champions League

Barcelona beat Juventus on Sunday 3:1 to lift the Champions League Trophy for the fifth time, Aljazeerah reports.

Barcelona's first ever win was in 1992 and since then, they have won it five times as show below:

1992         Barcelona v Sampdoria 1:0

2006         Barcelona v Arsenal 2:1

2009         Barcelona v Manchester United 2:0

2011         Barcelona v Manchester United 3:1

2015         Barcelona v Juventus 3:1

Barcelona were crowned kings of Europe for the fifth time after beating Juventus 3-1 in the Champions League final at the Olympic Stadium, capping their magnificent season with a treble of titles.

Goals from Ivan Rakitic in the fourth minute, Luis Suarez in the 68th and Brazilian Neymar at the end of stoppage time sealed the Catalans' second treble, following their feat in 2009, after they also won the La Liga title and Spanish King's Cup.

Magic man Lionel Messi did not score in the final and Neymar's earlier goal was disallowed, but managed to score before the final whistle.

Barcelona is among the few countries that have won the prestigious trophy many times over. The list include Real Madrid, Ajax, Milan, Bayern Munich
