A man who escaped from the New York Prison was shot dead Friday, by law enforcement officers, according to Fox News.
There is ongoing search for the other escapee identified as David Sweat.

Richard Matt - one of two prisoners who escaped from the Prison 20 days ago, was confirmed dead following shots from Police officers, Fox News said.
At the time of his death Richard Matt was armed with a 20 gauge shotgun. "He was shot and killed by a border patrol SWAT team at about 3:45 p.m. in Elephant's Head, New York, some 20 miles south of the Canadian border and just 50 miles away from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, NY after he was spotted by a law enforcement officer walking in the woods."
