The InterContinental – London The O2 is a luxury, 450+ bed hotel, next to the O2 on the Greenwich Peninsula, due to open by the end of 2015.

GLLaB is working with the Hotel’s owners, The Arora Group, to recruit local people to the many vacancies that are being created by this prestigious development. GLLaB will be holding a series of ‘drop in’ Road Shows to enable local residents to find out more, register their interest, sign up for training linked to vacancies and apply for these jobs.

Breakdown of the opportunities:

Kitchens – Commis Chef, Chef De Partie, Pastry Chef, Kitchen Porter, Kitchens Coordinator.

Concierge – Doorman, Luggage Porters.

Guest Services – Reception/Front of House roles.

Housekeeping – Room attendants, Office Coordinator, Back of House Porters, Linen Porters, Valet.

Security – Duty Security Officers.

Events – Event Coordinators and Events Associates.

Restaurants – serving customers and hosts.

Spa – Receptionist, Therapist, Spa Cleaner.

Reservations - Reservationist.

Stores – Storeman, Good receivable.

Food & Beverage – serving customers and hosts.

Finance – General cashier.

Maintenance – Shift Engineers, Electrician, Gardener.

Please note: All roles are full time 40 hours per week and will require working shifts including weekends.
