Are we alone? We may not be alone. We are alone. There is something out there. Anyone who is familiar with X-Files will have heard of the above phrases and even as Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) prepared to it our screens again, the search for other life have received a hug boost.

A recent article published by the Scientific American say, Prof. Stephen Hawking and Yuri Milner have Announced a $100m (£64.3m) Initiative to Seek ET (search for sign of life outside of our earth).

The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI), research has not yielded much to confirm the existence of other beings outside of the solar system, even though mankind has made giant strides in space research, with NASA successfully launching missions to Mars and Pluto.

Yesterday, in a live webcast which originated from London, the Russian entrepreneur Yuri Milner, along with the physicist Stephen Hawking were expected to announce their intentions to change that.
