Bird Exposes The Limits Of A Light Drone As Eagle Terminate One Flight

by our Admin | From the Web

It may be short, but this YouTube clip showing an eagle attacking, and subsequently bringing to an end, the journey of a light drone has gone viral. The eagle appeared from nowhere as the drone soared above a bush path and struct.

The eagle appears from nowhere.

It happened in Melbourne, Australia when a photographer, Adam Lancaster took his drone to the open country for testing.

As the drone soared above the trees, an eagle suddenly appeared and brought its progress to a halt. Nothing happened to the eagle. He explained that birds of prey clearly see drones as a threat and therefore will attack it.

"I won't be flying the local seemingly 'safe' area anymore," he said.

Posting it on YouTube, Lancaster said his "...drone needed some attention before it could fly again."

But it was not all bad news for him as he got a 50% rebate from his drone suppliers because of the popularity of the video.
