Don't Change My House, Move To Yours, Bishop TD Jakes Tell Homosexuals

One of the most renowned and well respected religious preachers, Bishop TD Jakes has said that his position with respect to same sex relationships.

Bishop TD Jakes says "There is only one church."

Speaking to Huffington Post's Larmont Hill, the Megachurch leader and well known author says that homosexuals should attend congregations that affirm their lifestyle and that politics do not need to reflect biblical ethics.  Bishop T D Jakes, then reportedly told them that his position on homosexuality is both "evolved and evolving".

The interview comes on the heel of the decision by US supreme court that every american should be free to fall in love with whomever they choose - a decision anchored one the premise that "love is love".

The occasion was an interview with Huffington Post on Monday during which he was asked by a viewer if he believes that homosexuals and the black church can co-exist.

Bishop TD Jakes then answered saying "Absolutely..I think it is going to be diverse from church to church," adding that "Every church has a different opinion on the issue and every gay person is different."

The Bishop continued saying "And I think that to speak that the church - the black church, the white church or any kind of church you wanna call it - are all the same, is totally not true."

He said that people in same-sex relationship should find congregations that affirm their lifestyle.

He said "LGBT's of different types and sorts have to find a place of worship that reflects what your views are and what you believe like anyone else."

Bishop TD Jakes said "the church should have the right to have its own convictions and values; if you don't like those convictions and values [and] you totally disagree with it, don't try to chane my house, move into your own...and find somebody who gets what you get about faith."

The issue of homosexuality, he said, is complex.
