The incident, involving the bus was travelling along the 484 route, took place at around 6:30am on Vicars Hill, SE13, according to a City A.M. report.

The Lewisham Police clarified on twitter that there had been no injuries, although the incidence happened just as they were finishing an already busy night shift.

"Just to finish our already busy night shift.", the Lewisham MPS said adding "No one was injured.... But it's fair to say "bus has driven into a house" is not an everyday call, even for Lewisham!!!".

No injuries have been reported, although London Ambulance Service is on the scene, along with the Metropolitan Police.

Police said the London Ambulance was there as a precaution and that there had been no road closures as a result of the crash, which involved an Abellio bus.

Mike Weston, TfL’s director of buses, said: “At around 6:30 this morning a route 484 single deck bus, operated by Abellio, collided with a wall on Vicars Hill near to the junction with Cliffview Road, SE4.

"Emergency services attended the scene. There will be a full investigation into the incident.”
