Prison Break To Make A Return To The Big Screen

Prison Break ended at season 4, with Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller) dying. But the popular American TV series is now set to make a comeback to the big screen - with Season Five.

Fans are delighted it's return has been officially confirmed by Fox TV. But anxiety is already building as what they expect to see.

According to the report, the new series will start to air on NBC Universo from tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 - with the first season, refresh our memories. And there is even the chance that it will be aired in Spanish for the first time.

However, a release date has not yet been shared. Series regulars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will reprise their roles as many now have speculations about how the show will continue and whether there will be a prison break this time.

There is also a question of whether how the story will unravel. How will the death of Michael Scofield affect the new series? Will his character come back to the dead? Did he really die at the end of Season 4? Or was it an accident that was mistaken? Did he fake his death?

These are questions that beg for answers, even though many suspect that, or simply because they did not wish to see him dead, he did not really die and probably faked his death.

Prison Break ended in 2009 after four years on the air. It took fans through the story of Miller’s character Michael Scofield getting himself arrested and placed in the same jail as his brother, Purcell’s Lincoln Burrows, to help him escape.

Lincoln had been jailed for a crime he did not commit. Along the way, Micheal builds alliances and finds enemies, with some of them being released alongside him.

But those eager to foresee what is coming may have to be a little more patient, because, according to the Inquistr "Prison Break Season 5 is expected to be a sequel of sorts. It will pick up years after the original show ended, bringing the two brothers back."

Dana Walden, Fox producer, has confirmed that it will work in a similar way to 24: Live Another Day. So far, 10 to 12 episodes have been commissioned, but there are no details of how the series will play out.
