Tesco Looks Forward To Christmas After Winning Multiple Prizes For Quality

Tesco has won multiple awards for festive treats at the 2015 Quality Food and Drinks Awards. The cheering news comes as the troubled retail giant readies for the Christmas Frenzy which sees till ringing non-stop.

The High Grocer won 22 gongs during the event. two of them for products free from Strawberry and Vanilla Cones and Everyday value cottage pie.

There were different categories of recognition, including the Gold Q Awards, Quality Food Awards 2015 Winners, Highly Commended and Commended.

Tesco said it is set for a critically acclaimed Christmas, after winning the 22 gongs at the Quality Food and Drink Awards 2015 and said, with festive treats like the Turkey Crown with pork, apple and chestnut stuffing, salted caramel ice creams and Tesco finest* Premier Cru NV champagne, Amaretto Panettone and Amontillado sherry trifle, these accolades recognise the quality of the products that are available to customers at Tesco this Christmas.

In a news briefing, Tesco said it has won 20 categories for products including fresh produce, salads and frozen foods, and the coveted Gold Q awards for Tesco Free From Strawberry and Vanilla Cones and Everyday Value Cottage Pie. It also received over 40 highly commended or commended for own label products.
