Boston Dynamics do their things the unique way and their Big Dog Wild Cat is all ready and dressed up to service - in war and at Christmas.

Google's Technology Lab, based in Boston is creating future robots that can readily step in where nature would probably have been needed.

The lab, which has been testing their various projects showcased their big dogs "WildCats" as they pull the Santa Lady towards point `B' in a cohesive progression.

Titled "Happy Holidays from Boston Dynamics", the video was posted on Tuesday 22, December, as a Christmas message - but of course, you get a bit more of that.

Watch the video and see how imagination is showing what is possible.

Using sensor-based controls and computation, the company unlocks the capabilities inherent with complex mechanisms and create robots with remarkable behaviour which are not just mobile, but agile and fast. Bought Boston Dynabamics in December 2013.

The Big Dog, Google Couldn't Resist:

When Boston Dynamics tested their Wild Cat four-legged robot called the `big dog', Google must have thought, its time to make a deal because within three months, Boston Dynamics has changed hands.

The big dog, developed to run fast on all types of terrain, ran about 19 mph on flat terrain originally but the improved models do much more.

One year later, in February 2015, the advanced model of the robot, was tested.
