The Daughter of a retired judge threatened to arrest him over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, but the poor dad was left feeling proud of his daughter.
Retired Judge Greg Ellis Mathis (above) from Detroit, Michigan posted his daughters badge on Facebook telling how she threatened to arrest him during thanksgiving weekend.
His daughter Jade E. Mathis, is an Assistant State Attorney in the State of Maryland, but when daddy found himself on the wrong side of her daughter's feeling, she threatened to bring him in.
Judge Mathis rtd posted the following: "My daughter Jade is the Assistant State's Attorney in Prince George's County, Maryland. She threatened to arrest me over the holiday weekend. So proud of her!"
The post has gone viral, share more than 5,000 times, attracted over 2,600 comments and liked 143,500 times since it was put up only Monday.
The retired 36th District Court judge is also a syndicated television show arbiter on the long-running reality courtroom show `Judge Mathis'.
But instead of the fans friends to find fault in his daughters threat, many are applauding the young officer. Some tell her congratulations and others even want to meet her.
One said "What a Blessing!!! Congratulations to Mom & Dad for parenting well done!!♡♡♡!!". Another wrote "Met her a few weeks ago (socially). She is a delightful young lady and I am happy she is here in Prince George's to help make our county greater. We will take care of your baby..."
A third begged for help in tracking the killers of her ex.." Ask her to please help the effort in the murder of my sons father there in that county on sept 21,2015 he was only 39 n my son is 19 still crying everyday!!! Please help!!!! His name is..."
It is not everyone that forgot to ask what happened. One man said: "And just what were you doing that your own daughter, even though she is n Assistant State's Attorney, that she threatened to arrest you? You go Girl!"
Do you think, it is right to threaten your own father?
