Insight Into A Rare Rescue Effort In A War Zone

by Benson Agoha | In Woolwich

* A Helicopter during a rescue mission in Afghanistan.
I spotted this interesting photo, shared on LinkedIn by a Marine Corps head hunter who sent his kudos to all reserve and national guard citizen soldiers and the civilian employers who support them!.

The photo was reportedly taken by a soldier in Afghanistan during a rescue mission, while the pilot is said to be a PA National guardsman whose regular job is an EMT helicopter pilot.

Like he asked, we too would like to know if there many other pilots with skill that equals his, seeing that he can set the back end of a helicopter down on a shack, in a steep mountain cliff while allowing soldiers load wounded comrades in the rear.

What a demonstration of skill. Well done sir!
