Skype is one of the early revolutions to pop into the communications scene, with voice-to-voice sharing that effectively changed the way we related with one another and, later after it introduced group conferencing, with groups.

Skype soon became a dependable means of communication, enhancing commerce and building trust - and it was free. It has come a long way since, especially after Micro-soft bought it for over $8.5bn dollars. At that time, it seemed outrages, but Bill Gates knew what he was getting.

In 2006, Skype launched a new innovation, introducing free video calling. Ten years on, it is poised to rise to the challenge of modern day technology.

As the mobile gets increasingly popular and its capacity to handle various aspects of communication demands widens, Skype has announced it will introduce group video calling for mobile.

The above screenshot from a Samsung Smart mobile device shows how four people can engage in a group video call at the same time - changing the way we communicate.

Gurdeep Pall , Skype CVP, announced it in this video above, while at the middle is a video of what is possible.

Have a watch of both videos.
