by Benson Agoha | In London

A lone male is protesting at Nigeria's National Assembly to demand for the arrest of former President Jonathan Goodluck.

Local media reports say the man, seen carrying a banner, visibly pleading for the `arrest of Goodluck Jonathan Now', stormed the National Assembly premises with a folder and bottled water.

He was seen flagging at cars carrying lawmakers into the premises.

He is asking for the arrest of the the former president who handed over to incumbent Muhammadu Buhari, who is waging war against corruption, after loosing in the last years general elections.

The protester is said to be demanding the arrest of the former president over the ongoing investigation into a missing $2.1 billion approved for the purchase of arms for the Nigeria Army to help fight the Boko Haram insurgency.

The former president was largely thought to have ignored the mayhem being unleashed by the terror group, until the last three months of his administration, leading to the postponement of Nigeria's general elections on the instruction of the Army.
