Plumstead Murder Investigation - Police Charge Woman For Murcer Of Another Woman In Plumstead On Sunday

A 52-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder of a pensioner after she was found dead at a house in south-east London, on Sunday has been charged.

According to a Metropolitan Police Statement, Regina Edwards, 52 (09.12.63) of Plumbridge Street, SE10 was being charged with the death of Priscilla Edwards, 78, of Kirkham Street, Plumstead on Sunday.

Priscilla Edwards, the 78-year-old female victim was found in Kirkham Street, Plumstead after police were called by London Ambulance at 20:32 GMT on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination showed Priscilla Edwards died from injuries to the neck. Police say, her `Next of Kin' has been informed.

The woman arrested, was being kept in custody at a south London police station, Monday, She will appear at Bromley Magistrates Court later today, Police statement said.
