Event: Talking About GP Telephone Systems
Date: 24 February 2016
Time: 17:45 - 20:00
We want to hear about your experiences of getting through to your general practice on the telephone – what works well and what needs to be improved?
NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group is holding a patient engagement event on 24 February 2016 at Blackfriars Settlement, 1 Rushworth Street, SE1 0RB starting with light refreshments at 17.45 and presentations and discussions taking place 18:00 – 20:00.
A key part of our Primary and Community Care Strategy is to improve access to services and make it easier for patients to see or speak to a GP or nurse when they need to. We rolled out the Extended Primary Care Service (EPCS) last year as part of this.
Some of you may have come to our engagement events in 2013 and 2014 as part of the development of the EPCS and there were a lot of discussions about telephone issues and how we could use smart technology to improve access. Now that the EPCS has been running for over a year in the south and nearly a year in the north, we would like to continue these discussions with you to understand your experiences and what will be important for us to consider as part of any work we take forward in this area.
There are still some places available, so if you would like to attend please book to attend using the this Eventbrite link.
