The Guard House Restaurant, Royal Arsenal's Newest Arrival Opens To The Public

by Benson Agoha | Woolwich

* The Guard House Restaurant, Royal Arsenal
The iconic building, first on the left side of the Royal Arsenal Riverside Gate has been unoccupied for as long as I can remember. Not anymore.

The building called the Guard House is the location of the newest restaurant to arrive Woolwich. But as you stop to take in the view, your eyes are pulled further towards your left close to the thick walls.

The Guard House has been transformed and as the Royal Arsenal is no longer the preserve of the military, the Guard House has now been converted to a beautiful eatery to cater for the residents of Woolwich.

The restaurant's interior is decorated with multi-coloured motif panels and chairs against full length glass walls that help diners make the most of daylight.

And for those who love to enjoy the feel of the cool air while they dine, there is private/public corner outdoors, to enable you enjoy fresh air under large umbrellas or without them.

The All Day Menu shows the Guard House offers Brunch, Light bites, Mains, Sides and Desserts.

For drinks, diners get to choose between White Wine, Red Wine, Rose Wine, Champagne and Prosecco, Dessert Wine and Port.

And they price? A copy of the ALL DAY MENU is available, pick one on arrival and let the ever smiling waiters have the pleasure of taking your orders.
