by our RBG Correspondent | Greenwich

It’s Family Bike Week at the Waterway Children’s Centre from 4 to 8 April and there’s lots to do, including learning basic cycle maintenance or if you want to catch-up with the kids and take up cycling for the first time, bikes and instructors will be available too (free).

Family Bike Week - Cycle together. Explore your area

Family Bike Week is run in conjunction with Now’s The Time from the Waterways Children’s Centre in Thamesmead.

Gain confidence and learn skills to cycle as a family with a free family cycling session, led by professional cycling instructors from Bikeworks.

Children and adults will be able to learn how to ride a bike, improve their control skills and learn to cycle safely and confidently on paths and quiet roads with the family. This session offers the opportunity to build on, or prepare for Bikeability skills taught in schools.
