Changes Proposed To The Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Cabinet

* The Greenwich Centre Building in East Greenwich
Following routine internal discussions, a number of changes have been proposed to the Cabinet portfolios, scrutiny committees and other appointments at the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The proposals, which will need to be formally agreed at the Council’s Annual General Meeting on 18 May, include the following nominations to Cabinet portfolios:

          Leader,
Finance and Resources:
                Denise Hyland

               Deputy Leader,
Regeneration and Sustainability:
                Danny Thorpe

           Children and Young People:
                Miranda Williams

        Community Safety and Environment:
               Jackie Smith

Culture, Creative Industries
     And Community Well-being:
               Denise Scott-McDonald

           Customer Services and Anti-Fraud:
                Maureen O’Mara

                  Health and Adult Social Care:
                David Gardner

               Housing And Anti-Poverty: 
                Averil Lekau

                        Human Resources, 
Co-Operatives
                    And Social Enterprise:
                Chris Kirby

         Transport, Economy and Smart Cities:
                Sizwe James

The Council’s Annual General Meeting starts at 7pm and, like all full council meetings, will be broadcast live by the council at: www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/webcast.
