A singer who loves snakes and prides herself as one entertainer who can carry long poisonous reptiles onto the stage during performance without suffering bites.

It has always worked and there was no reason not to expect to this time, but it didn't. She was bitten by the reptile and although she carried on singing, she later slumped down on sage, and died.

Pop star, Irma Bule, 29, was one of the foremost pop stars who have shown again and again that she loves snakes - and enjoys their company. She was performing in Karawang, West Java and carried one on stage, and even after she had been bitten, she carried on performing for 45 minutes, Cobra's venom wreaking havoc within.

She later collapsed on stage and was rushed to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

The star was well-known for using reptiles in her acts and thought the king cobra, called Rianti, had been de-fanged, its bite on her thigh left her infected with the snake's venom travelling fast into her bloodstream, until a snake handler pulled it away.

Though she carried on singing for 45 minutes, she reportedly began vomiting and having seizures before she passed out.

Someone who was among the audience, Ferlando Octavion Auzura, told a local website:
'In the middle of the second song, Irma stepped on the snake’s tail. The snake then bit Irma in her thigh.'

According to reports, the singer who had also used boa constrictors and pythons in previous acts, refused the offer of an antidote until she was done with her performance.

What a tragic show.
