Tottenham Hotspur Manager Mauricio Pochettino Signs Extension To Stay At North London Till 2021

LONDON: Tottenham Hotspur Manager Mauricio Pochettino has signed a contract extension committing his future as Manager of the North London Club until 2021.  Club confirms extension of Manager's contract.

In an exclusive interview with Spurs TV, Pochettino said he signed because it was an exciting time for them

"We are very happy. I think for us its massive thing, the trust, first of all from Daniel Levi and all the club in behind him, all the supporters, the players. I think for us it is fantastic to write a new deal." adding "Now we are very very happy and very busy."

I remember our first interview when you said you wanted the fans to be very proud of this club and here we are today, and they are, you must be very proud of yourself."

"Its true, I remember very well our first interview, was difficult for me. Its true that after two two years we can feel that most of our fantastic period that we created all together, a big future and philosophy for the club we share all together. I think that it is key that our supporters feel proud that our players we feel proud that that has happened."

He said he is happy and that for them at Tottenham with new facilities in place, he feels happy to be here to try to help.

He said what they have achieved is the first step, but they still think ahead and hope to build on what they have achieved so far.

Mauricio said next season will be challenging as they try to consolidate on the achievment of the past two years.
