A failed coupe detat in Turkey, Saturday resulted in the death of about 60, with at least 42 persons said to have been certain. Large numbers of soldiers (about 750)are reported to have been detained across Turkey.
According to Fox News Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency reports that at least 754 members of the Turkish armed forces were detained after a coup attempt left at least 60 dead.
"An official in Turkish President Erdogan’s office says that the death toll in the attempted coup has risen to 60. Also, Turkey’s justice minister tells CNN Turk that 336 people have been detained in the coup attempt." Fox News reported.
On the other hand, President Erdogan, NTV television quotes the Ankara prosecutor’s office as saying that at least 42 people have died in the coup attempt in Turkey. At least 17 of the victims were police officers
