Last night’s debate was a win for the American people, according to US Republican Presidential candidate, Donald J. Trump (right).
In a special message published by Breitbart News, Trump said "We stood up to Hillary Clinton and the special interests who’ve hijacked our country -- and we presented our platform for a freer, safer, and more prosperous America."
He said he was sure of victory as the general elections scheduled to hold on November 8, draws near.
The Presidential aspirant said "I am confident that we’re going to win this whole thing on November 8," adding "Because I know that the American people are sick and tired of Washington’s corruption."
He also said the acclaimed win was a victory for all Americans.
"..And last night’s victory was a win for the millions of families across our country who are fed up and starved for real change." Trump said in the statement.
"...It was a win for the families who worry about their future as taxes, insurance, the cost of living, and our national debt skyrocket."
"...It was a win for the police officers who puts their lives in harm’s way every single day."
"...It was a win for our heroic veterans who deserve the treatment they earned."
"...It was a win for the American citizens who’ve seen the interests of other nations put above our own."
"...It was a win for the factory workers who’ve watched their jobs ship off to Mexico and China."
"...And it was a win for the tens of millions of patriotic, hard-working Americans whom Hillary thought she could write off as “deplorable” and “irredeemable.”
"Now it’s time to turn our winning message into action by ensuring we have what the resources to win BIG this November." Trump said.
* Hearty Laugh: Democratic Presidential Candidate,
Hilary Clinton appears to laugh off the claim as
emerging poll results show she is leading.
But his claim has met with criticism because some say he was interrupting Hilary Clinton during the debate and that he did so on more that 15 occasions.
According to local US media reports also, initial poll results since the debates show that Hilary Clinton is slightly on top with 47.2% while Trump is at 44.3%.
According to Continental Radio, the coming weeks will be a determining point especially because more debates are sure to be held during which the Democratic Presidential aspirant would have had the time to fix whatever went wrong on Tuesday night.
