A powerful explosion has reportedly rocked and destroyed houses and churches in Akure, the Ekiti State capital, according to Legit News.

A school, with boarding facilities was destroyed after its roof of every building within the premises blown off.  Vehicular movements is being hampered as the blast cut off section of the road.
