Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwaolu is considering a curfew in Lagos. The new measure will curb exit and entry movements into the state.
On Friday, March 27, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said the new measure will happen when the casualty rises to a certain number. Lagos now has 44 confirmed cases, according to Legit News.
Despite the rising number, its still business as usual for Lagos transporters as local commuters are still herded inside buses in clear violation of social distancing directive from the government.
Organisations are complying with the governments directive on shut-down, with those exempted implementing curbs on the number of customers allowed inside their premises each time.
At Queensmeal Bakeries along the LASU-Isheri Expresway, only 10 customers are allowed in at a time.
But the figures coming out of Nigeria, where a national total of about 81 cases have been reported, appears minimal when compared with figures from the United States. According to the Washington Post, a new total of 104, 000 cases have been confirmed with President Trump signing a $2 trillion coronavirus spending package into law.
