COVID-19 - New Cases Take Confirmed Total Past 12,000

Nigeria's disease control agency last night reported 260 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.

NCDC says the total confirmed cases in Nigeria has climbed to 12,486. Of this total, 3,959 patients have been discharged while 354 died.

The breakdown by state of the report puts Abia on top of the list with 67 new cases. Federal Capital Territory, Abuja is in second position with 40 cases, while Lagos dropped to third postion with 38 cases.

Kwara, Katsina, Nasarawa and Bornu States had 8 new cases each which gives them eight spot on the list.

Niger, Ondo, Plateau, Kano and Sokoto occupy the bottom of the list with 2 new cases each.
