COVID-19 - NCDC Releases New Report Taking Overall Total To 59, 345

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control has reported 58 new cases, taking the overall confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria to 59,345.

In its latest reported published by the disease control agency today, the office said it has sampled a total of 536,695, and discharged a total of 50,768.

1,113 have died so far, according to the NCDC.

Of the confirmed cases 37,759 representing 64% were male while 21,586 representing 36% were female. The office said people in the 31- 40 age bracket were mostly affected.

The corona-virus affected 37 states of the country, including the the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, according to the report.
