Bravo!2013 is here!! Happy New Year!!!
This night, revellers are going to party well into the wee hours of January 1, as they celebrate, with thanks to higher powers, from being alive to witnessing the survival of the world after the Mayan prediction failed to materialise. And why not?
For Woolwich Arsenal, the celebration promises another beautiful fireworks display that will march or surpass the display at the Royal Docks in August or the fireworks display at the General Gordon Square on the 22nd of December 2012.
More fireworks displays are expected at the Big Ben, in Westminster, Central London many other iconic structures throughout the country.
The Shard, located by London Bridge Station on the Network Rail, is schedules to dazzle the publich with a specially designed lighting sequence. And given its status as the highest structure in the capital, onlookers are promised quite a treat.
But while we are still warming up over here in Woolwich, our Australian counterparts have already gotten their own celebrations underway as at 9.46pm, according to News Reports monitored by the Herald Sun.
* Brisbane - As is also the case with other parts of the far East.
Grateful youths welcome 2013 with cheers.
