T.K. MAXX, the Clothes and Footware giant's long expected opening is in sight. It opens in Woolwich on Valentines Day, Thursday, February 14, 2013. T.K. Maxx is on the High Street, at the Junction of Powis and Hare Streets.

The arrival of T.K.Maxx is expected to add more glamour to the progressive regeneration of Woolwich Arsenal and indeed, the Royal Borough of Greenwich, as confirmed by ongoing constrution works in and around the city.

In tradition with recent new openings in Woolwich, T.K.Maxx is employing 40 staff to work in the new store. Of these, 24 are local residents of the borough, which will no doubt reduce the figure of the unemployed for Greenwich.
