MAGARET THATCHER'S FUNERAL GETS UNDERWAY by Benson Agoha


More than 2000 invited guests are expected to attend the funeral of late conservative Prime Minister, Magaret Thatcher which gets underway today at the St. Paul's Catheral in central london. It is expected to bring the city to a stand still.

There is heavy police presence and tight security is in place because of the expected protest. According to Paul Owen of the Guardian, Chant's of "waste of money" are already being reported, as the Hearse carrying the corpse makes its way from Parliament Square.

Intending travellers to the City are advised to check before moving and where possible to deferr their journeys or reschedule appointments.
