MANY INJURED IN A SERIOUS BUS CRASH IN THAMESMEAD by Benson Agoha


There was a serious bus crash in Thamesmead on Tuesday morning, involving a bus and a truck. Several people were injured and were later taken to the hospital in many ambulance vehicles.

Eyewitness account said many ambulance vehicles arrived the scene shortly after the crash, which occured around the junction linking Eastern Way to Nathan Way, Thamesmead - an important junction not far from the plumstead station.

It was not clear whether the crash also prompted the call-in of a surveilance helicopter that arrived the area around the time of the crash. At about 7.35am yesterday morning, the accaustic waves of hovering helicopter was heard shortly after several sirens of arrived the scene.
