The Foreign has today released a frightening statistics of the reality of the Syrian conflict which has claimed a staggering more than 100.000 lives.
The statistics reveal that the conflict in Syria, has now lasted for a 1000 days since it started. During this period, about 575, 000 people are estimated injured.
It also show that, in that time 9.3 million people are in need, among them are 4.65 million children.
The shocking statistics further reveal that 2.2 millon Syrian have become refugees in neighbouring countries and in North Africa.
Furthermore, about 2.5 million people now live in areas that have been cut off by the conflict, meaning they have no access to necessaries, and cannot access their loves ones in other parts.
The conflict has also resulted in 1.9 million children being out of school - representing a whoping 35% or more f the children in Syria, the statistics show. In total, there are f.4 million children in Syria.
Further effect of the Syrian conflict on its neighbours is that 16% of the entire population of Lebanon are made of Syrian refugees while 9% of Jordan's population are Syrians.
The foreign office said "It's time to end the conflict in Syria.
Syrian Chemical making equipment has recently been destroyed by UN Chemical Weapons inspectors but the actual destruction of the chemical weapons is being handicapped by lack of easy passage through some of parts still in rebel hands.
UN Secretary General, Ban Kimoon, has unvelled plans to hold a Peace conference on Syria in Geneva from Wednesday 22nd January 2014.
