* World War 2 Anti-Tank Gun Firing.
The following listings and invitations have been announced by FirePower Museum in Royal Arsenal, Woolwich.
Richard J Smith-Gore, Operations Manager at Firepower said the listings include firing of the WW2 Gun - done every month - the next one of which is scheduled for Saturday 8th Feb, 2014 and the Rocket Week in half term - organised for the kids - and scheduled to run from Tuesday, February 18 to Saturday February 22nd, 2014.
For the Rocket Week, a £4.50 fee is charged per child.

FirePower is inviting the public to their scheduled next firing of their World War 2 Anti-Tank Gun.
And the event to fire the 2 pounder gun, will be held outside the FirePower Museum in Royal Arsenal, Woolwich on 8th February, 2014.
In an official statement, FirePower said their Living History Team will be back outside the Museum and will remain on site all day. They will fire the gun three times on that day as follow:
First Firing: at approx 11:30
Second Firing: at approx 13:30
Third Firing: at approx 14:30
This great demonstration is always a hit with the public. So come along and check it out for yourself. Besides seeing the WWII relic fired, you can also visit the museum and cafe or even take a walk along the thames path.
However, actual firing will depend on the weather outlook for the day. If you are not sure, please call phone number 0208 8557755 from 10am to confirm if the event will take place as announced.

Rocket Week - Half Term @ FirePower:

And the Rocket Week for the Half Term will be from Tuesday, February 18 to Saturday February 22nd, 2014 at the FirePower Museum.
Children are invited to join their mates for a fun packed time during the Half Term, as FirePower presents the Rocket Week.
Each day during the event kids will be given the chance to launch rockets at a model of Fort McHenry, recreating the moment in 1812 when Congreve rockets were fired at the fort.
Kids will also take a tour to find out about early military rockets.
There will be mad science propulsion demonstrations using household items.
There will also be rocket making crafts and FirePower's Camo Zone will be open.
All this for just £4.50 per child plus admission.
FirePower said the activities run from 11.00am - 1.00pm and repeated from 2.00pm - 4.00pm, so attendees are advised not to worry if they arrive late.
All activities are drop in, no need to pre-book, FirePower says.
The café is open all day so make a day of it!
