Sunday's final of the Eurovision song contest was won by Austrian cross-dressing singer Conchita Wurst (real name Tom Neuwirth).
She was greeted on arrival by thousands of Austrians who thronged the airport in Viena. She won with 290 points and dreams of playing 007 in the James Bond series.
The lady who could have easily auditioned for any role featuring Jesus Christ, became an advocate of love and tolerance.

The win was Austian's first since 1966.
The Netherlands came second with 238 points, while Sweden took third place with 218 points.
Molly Smitten-Downes from the UK came 17th with 40 points. She sang 'Children of the Universe.'
Wurst said the win was not just a victory for her alone but also for those who "believe in a future that can function without discrimination and is based on tolerance and respect."
She said "I believe everything happens for a reason."
