Celebrity: Mariah Carey Enjoys The Subway Train

This is lady of songs Mariah Carey riding the subway train after she posted the following “Since I’m so underdressed I might as well take the subway…”

It happened on Thursday night, after the singer, often considered a diva chose to surprise commuters by joining the mass transit system.

Necole Bitchie, who shared the images said "Mariah Carey, who some consider one of the biggest demanding divas in the business, decided to poke fun at her reputation by getting glammed up and taking to the streets like us regular folks."

* The Lady of songs, sits smiling at other passengers.

But if that was a spontaneous fun act, well, it was not long before she had 'good' men for company, as can be seen below:

* A man takes up the challenge and dances for her, getting a broad smile back as reward.

She was on her way to attend the 2014 Fresh Air Fund Honoring American Heroes. "She hit the streets in a baby blue, floor-length gown and hopped on the #1 train," wrote Necole Bitchie.

The images were followed by series of Vine clips from when Mariah Carey left her hotel to walk to the subway, titling them as “Glimpses of our joyride on the 1 train #subwayincouture.” 

She sure ate her cake and still had it.
